Where is La Barillère located?

La Barillère is located halfway between Tours and Poitiers. Coming from the A10 motorway, you will take the Ste Maure de Touraine exit to continue your road to the D50 for 30 minutes. The house is located in the middle of fields between the villages of Petit Pressigny and La Celle Guenand. When you see the sign “gîte La Barillère”, you will have to turn right. Foolow the small road and you will find La Barillère on your right hand side. The green gate will be open!

 

Are there restaurants near La Barillère?

In the center of Petit Pressigny, there is a family restaurant serving meals at noon, and pizza in the evening. There is also a gourmet restaurant. Both restaurants are closed at this time until government authorization to open again.

 

Do you offer on-site activities?

Being a mosaic artist, I offer mosaic workshops in my studio at a special rate.

 

Is there a swimming pool? What are the opening hours of the pool?

Yes, there is an unheated swimming pool (the sun does that for us ...) accessible from mid-April to mid-September if the weather permits. You have private access from 10a.m. Before 10am, the pool will be cleaned and I will take care of cleaning / disinfecting the sun loungers and parasols. For hygienic reasons, I will not make pool games available, but you are free to bring your own.

 

Is the pool shared with other people?

The pool is just for you during the opening hours mentioned above.

 

Should I bring my bed linen?

No, linen is provided and beds will be made upon arrival. Note that the laundry is washed on site at 60 ° minimum for good disinfection. I will ask you to unpack the beds before your departure and to put the linen in the basket that I will put at your disposal. There will be kitchen towels as well. You can put them in the same basket.

 

Can I come with my pet?

We love animals, but Mies, the little cat and mistress of the domain, does not like them all. I therefore regret to tell you to come without animals, to avoid any concern for cohabitation…
